This free 5k training plan includes 4 days of running, a day of cross-training, and 2 dedicated rest days. When committing to a training plan, make sure to start out easier than you think you need to. Running is supposed to be a lifelong activity, and there is always time to get better.
This free 5k plan is perfect for both absolute beginners, and those who have run a few times but never seriously. If done to completion an athlete can expect to finish their first 5k. Good Luck!
